Gardaí at Carrick on Shannon Garda Station are renewing their appeal to the public for information in relation to the murder of Pat Heeran who was last seen in Mohill, Co Leitrim at 4.20pm on the 3rd October 2011.
He was reported missing to An Garda Siochana on the 14th October 2011. Patrick Heeran is described as being 5'9", of stocky build with fair hair, and when last seen he was wearing brown shoes, blue jeans and a brown jacket.
Investigating Gardaí will hold a media briefing/renewed information appeal:
Location: Bush Hotel, Main Street, Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim.
Date: 6th July, 2017.
Time: 11 a.m.
Members of the media will be invited to photograph the scene of the search area (being conducted by An Garda Síochána and Defence Forces) after the media briefing. The media will depart Bush Hotel at 11.45a.m. and travel to the search scene where Pat Heeran was last sighted in October 2011.
